Speck Mobile is a street food company specialising in traditional Austrian cuisine run by native countrymen, Marco and Franz.

It goes without saying that our East Village Chess in Newham was a great success. From an all-day chess extravaganza in Newham to the on-going presence of chess in thousands of children’s lives, we’re proud to have launched the fantastic East Village-sponsored Newham Chess Project, a programme that will see funding for chess sets and lessons across 14 Newham schools, in association with Chess in Schools and Communities and Newham Council.

Last Friday saw the launch of a kick starter campaign to shoot The Wilderness, an Olympic-themed feature film with its roots in Hackney Wick, about an East End boy saved from a life of poverty and crime when he learns to box.
