You may remember last month The People’s Bureau hosted another of their ever-successful skills sharing workshops in Elephant & Castle for guests to enjoy for free. If you’re a fan of this much-loved shopping cart you’ll be pleased to hear it is back again this week for yet another day of skills sharing. Read on to find out what you can expect this time around!
The People’s Bureau, sponsored by Delancey, has provided the community with the chance to learn everything from photography to language skills, all for free from their multipurpose shopping cart. After the success of their October skills sharing event, this incredible initiative returns tomorrow (Thursday 5th November), bringing with it another programme of exciting activities and workshops to get stuck into.
Whether you’re a smartphone novice hoping to broaden your tech knowledge, or have always fancied being more resourceful and learning how to mend things, this month’s line up really has got something for everyone! Green-fingered guests can get valuable gardening tips while those with an artistic flair can release their creativity at the arts and crafts and beading sessions.
All held from the relaxed setting of a colourful pop-up shopping cart, the initiative is a great way to meet others, try your hand at something new or put the skills you picked up at previous sessions to the test! Founders Eva and Rebecca never fail to provide varied programmes of hands-on activities along with a friendly welcoming vibe, making The People’s Bureau a popular addition to the Elephant & Castle community.
Fancy coming along? Whether you’re a devoted member of The People’s Bureau or a first timer, anyone can get involved between 11am – 4pm, this Thursday 5th November, on the first floor of the Elephant & Castle Shopping Centre on New Kent Road.
