London Launch: Gotto at Here East

November 11, 2016

Calling all you foodies out there, we have the perfect place for your next dinner reservation. For Italian dishes and homemade Vermouth, dine out at the newest space in Here East – Gotto, a casual rustic Italian trattoria. Born from the same duo who opened the fabulous Mele e Pere in the heart of Soho, we just know you are going to love it!

Gotto joined the Here East community at the beginning of this year and couldn’t have chosen a better place to open their second restaurant. Andrea and Peter opened their first restaurant, Mere e Pele, in Soho back in February 2012 after first meeting while working at the Michelin-star restaurant, Wild Honey. It was their dream to open a traditional Italian establishment that reminded them of the places they dined out with their families growing up.

The magic duo are passionate about serving their own homemade pasta, bread, ice-cream and signature vermouth. You can even try your hand at making your own homemade tortelli, taglierini and gnocchi at their pasta masterclass on 24th November. They incorporate British produce and Italian ingredients in their spectacular ever-changing menu with seasonal and daily dishes. You just can’t get bored with the food here when there is an endless number of dishes to try!

As it’s almost Christmas, we can’t forget to mention their mouth-watering Christmas menu for £23 and, in-keeping with the season, they’ll be hosting a Game Feast Supper Club on Thursday 1st December – a whopping five course game-inspired feast! (We recommend you take a page from Joey’s book in Friends and wear some very elasticated trousers!).

Gotto is open from 10:30am – 10:30pm Tuesday – Thursday, 11:00am – 10:30pm on a Saturday and 11:00am – 9:30pm on a Sunday. Head to the Gotto website now to book your table and get yourself down to Canalside for a delicious Italian meal.
