If you’re yet to hear about Here East, it’s high time you did – as it’s now open for business! The incredible space is the former Press and Broadcast Centres for London 2012 and is the digital quarter for east London. The space has already changed so much since London 2012, but there’s still lots more to come for Here East. Next year they’ll open the biggest, boldest and most ambitious Technology Innovation Centre ever built in Europe.

Nestled in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Here East is in the heart of east London’s artistic community, and is an impressive new hub for innovation and creativity. The news that the centre is open for business comes after Canalside, which is a new retail destination, opened at Here East in spring this year.

With the help of Delancey and ENTIQ, The Innovation Centre will become a meeting point for the creators of tomorrow. It will be home to innovative businesses (big and small), who are establishing new technology in their industry. There’ll be a special emphasis on sport, health, fashion, smart cities and Internet of Things (IoT). We can’t wait, it’s a really exciting time for east London and beyond!
There’ll be space for up to 500 members and organisations in its 68,000 square feet of new, creative and flexible working space. The up-and-coming space will be very exciting as it will bring together an active community focused on making life better through technology.
The Innovation Centre will also join existing tenants BT Sport, Infinity, ENTIQ art spaces, UCL education hub and Loughborough University London.
The Innovation Centre is set to open fully in Spring 2017. Does this sound like a bit of you? Find out more here and let us know what you think of this cool and modern centre.
