London Launch: Pave Velo at East Village!
For all the Boris Bikes in the city, there’s also a growing number of avid bikers with their own two wheels making their way through London daily. Whether you’re a keen cyclist with a bike of your own or are looking to invest, it’s time to say hello to Pave Velo! This family-run, community-centred bike shop has opened its doors in the heart of Stratford’s East Village, and is well worth a visit!
The independent bike shop was founded in Cornwall in 2010, and opened its second branch right in the heart of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park at the beginning of this year. And they couldn’t have chosen a more appropriate location! The east London community loves whizzing around on a bike, and now the knowledgeable and handy lot at Pave Velo are on your doorstep to help with all your cycling needs.

The store stocks a wide range of gear so whether you’re just getting into cycling or are already a veteran mountain and road biker, the dedicated team at Pave Velo will help you find exactly what you need. Their workshop delivers on the spot repairs as well as services such as a full custom modification of your bike. Whatever you need, you’ll be in good hands as the team are familiar with any kind of bicycle – from basic commuter wheels to the most technical of mountain bikes. You won’t be at a loss for bike parts, clothing and accessories either, with a full range of tech and cycling gear on offer from Mavic to Garmin to GoPro.

The shop is open every day; from 9am-8pm Monday to Thursday, 9am-6pm Friday and Saturday, and 11am-5pm on Sundays. And with a location less than a few hundred metres away from where a number of Team GB athletes won their Olympic golds in London 2012, we think East Village is a perfect spot for the Pave Velo team. Next time you need any cycling advice, repairs or a pair of new wheels, we’d recommend it! There’s even a small café bar for you to make yourself at home and chat to the team.
You can find Pave Velo Bicycle Shop at 2 – 4 Victory Parade, East Village, Stratford, E20 1FS. Drop in!
