London Living’s best blogs of the week
It’s that short and sweet time of the week when we take you for a brisk tour through London’s blogging underworld, sharing with you the best pearly gems we’ve been looking at during the week, before you head off for a divinely long weekend.
First up, we’d like to draw your attention to Shop Talk London, a blog we recently stumbled across. Check it out – this is just a really good place to soak up some great stories and shared content.
Like London Living, the creative heads at Shop Talk London have hatched their blog as a social hub where people “can share their everyday experiences, inspirations, thoughts and opinions with other Londoners under the creative umbrella” and that they do, very nicely.
Hear, hear we say; from online tips, irresistible trivia, quirky stories and discussions about diverse, topics, there is something for everyone one here. We particularly enjoyed their thoughts on the Olympic Games – check it out.
Anyone who gets a bit queasy – look away now!
The Gory Gourmet has arrived in town – we heard about these guys earlier on in the week and it’s fair to say they have been causing quite a stir as of late. Thyroid nuggets, brain burgers; The Gory Gourmet are bringing street food to London, in a whole new way.
Billing itself as the “World’s first gastronomic brain food menu” this new grisly pop up is grabbing all the headlines – just have a look at their menu, as presented by The London-Insider, here…
Right, stomachs at ease folks, our last pick has something a little more “digestible”, shall we say. LeCoolLondon has written a mouth-watering piece on a trip to Billingsgate Fish Market.
If you haven’t been yet, this may just swing your taste-buds. Find out what a shopping spree there involves…and the seafood carnage that takes place when cooking up a whole lot of scallops, crab and squid in someone’s kitchen thereafter!
