Halloween Happenings: Creature Courage’s Creepy Crawly Experience

This half term, Elephant Road will be offering a series of fun filled kids Halloween activities. The spooky afternoon will be host to creepy insects and animals, face painting, pumpkin carving and creepy crafts to name a few. The events aim to be a fun learning experience where the whole family can find out interesting facts and information all for free! Crystal Maze: Halloween Edition

This classic game show has had a spooky twist put on it to celebrate Halloween this year. The timed maze will get your blood pumping as you’ll have a time vampire called The Blood Baron chasing you to the final challenge. The Blood Baron will not take any prisoners and has been known to trick contestants into turning on their own friends in a plan of master manipulation! Family Friendly Ghost Tours
Hampton Court Palace

In the back drop of this famous palace, a creepy experience awaits! This year, Hampton Court Palace will be hosting three freaky family friendly Ghost Tours around its stunning (yet scary) grounds. Telling the tales of paranormal stories, CCTV footage will reveal the apartments are haunted by a Tudor royal nurse. Tours last up to 1.5 hours long and the minimum age requirement is 8 (children must have an adult with them). In the setting of one of the last ballrooms, Rivoli Ballroom will be hosting a pop-up cinema film festival to celebrate a series of classic scary films. Accompanied with popcorn, ice cream, hot dogs, wine, beer and cider – this is a chance to sit back and try to relax as you soak up the eerie atmosphere. The price of tickets is £13 and they can be purchased here. If you miss out on tickets for Halloween (or decide this will be too terrifying), the pop-up will return in December for Christmas classics such as Elf and Home Alone.

Purge: Lockdown Immersive Halloween Party

If you are ready to be terrified in an immersive event, this one is for you. Reflecting the film’s storyline for two nights all crime will become legal as the government have announced the first ever purge event. Bunker 51 will be the only dedicate safe house in the entire city for you to seek refuge and it will be busy with fellow safety-seekers looking to wait out the purge. This lockdown event will also have DJ’s and live theatre performers to continue the party. Fancy dress is required and tickets are £10.00-25.00 and can be booked here.
