Paralympic Games – that’s a wrap!

It’s with a rather unnerving sense of deja-vu that we find ourselves suddenly reminiscing once again, as the curtain was pulled down on London 2012 on Sunday…for the final time.

It doesn’t seem long ago that we were stifling some dramatic post-Games blues with a little wrap-up on a splendid two weeks of Olympic mania. Well here we are again; this time we’re going to take a quick look at some of the great reaction on Twitter, from Paralympians who stayed at East Village.

Team GB paralympic archer, Pippa Britton, was not only impressed with the artistic quality of East Village, but with the legacy it will carry forward too:

Team GB discus thrower/shot putter & world record holder, Aled Davies, was lost for words!

And South African swimmer, Emily Anne Gray, thinks London’s newest neighbourhood is going to be ‘awesome’:

The Huffington Post’s Alice Vincent expressed excitement for what lies in store for East Londoners now:

It’s great to see such positivity around East Village – long may it continue!
