Inspiration for Sammie’s shop came from a mixture of her childhood growing up in London, mixed with Asian influences such as earl grey, lychee and Hong Kong milk tea. Sammie has always loved to bake – especially macarons – however she hated wasting the egg yolks and set out to find a new recipe to use them in. This is when she discovered that they could be used to make ice cream…and the rest, was history!
This unique, first-of-it’s-kind ice cream shop could turn out to be the perfect Instagrammer’s paradise with its vibrant colours and quirky sandwich twist. Be sure to stop by and take a snap or two!
What’s more, Sammie makes the ice cream flavourings and fillings from scratch wherever possible. The eggs are free range and the ice cream is made without any preservatives – no nasties here! By tucking in to an ice cream macaron sandwich here you’re guaranteed a fresh snack as all ice cream sandwiches are made and sold the same week.
