Hackney, with its industrial history and cultural diversity, is no stranger to change. Now a new project run by the Hackney Museum aims to record the changes to the people and places of the borough in the run up to the 2012 Olympics, and create a lasting legacy for future generations.

Friday 6th January saw the opening of the London Transport Museum’s ‘Painting by Numbers’ exhibition, which runs alongside the ‘Sense & the City’ show already in place there.
