Yes it is Monday once again, and @HereEast is looking back on an old interview with Founder and CEO of OpenSensors, Yodit Stanton.

At the moment, a lot of data from the public realm is currently locked away in silos and private databases, meaning when it is available to people, it’s not in real time. Yodit and her team have created a new product which allows people to publish and subscribe to the multitudes of invisible IoT data that exists within our environments.

Let’s flash back to the 80s, a particularly forward-thinking decade, when tech like the Walkman and other gaming devices were becoming mainstream and accessible. This week @HereEast interview the Co-Founder of a start-up who is on a mission to simplify big complicated tools in factories, which can actually be miniaturised.

Since setting up their company in 2015, Alex and Ben have been on a mission to demystify and shrink down these expensive factory processes. Their latest invention, the FormBox, is a compact vacuum former which makes beautiful things quicker than a 3D printer. FormBox was funded on Kickstarter with incredible support raising $588,775!
