Dalston Yard

Every Friday 5pm-late, Every Saturday 12pm-late

A well-established east London hangout hosted by the food moguls from Street Feast; this one is a must. Every Friday and Saturday, Dalston Yard opens its doors and cooks up a feast for you to enjoy, with a craft beer or a cocktail or two from one of the nine on-site bars. From the likes of B.O.B’s Lobster and Bleecker St. Burger to Mother Clucker and Bad Brownie, some of the legends of London’s food scene are shacked up here to serve you up a storm. Free entry before 7pm every Friday and Saturday!

Pop Brixton

With a laid back vibe, great bars and even better food, Pop Brixton is a south London spot not to be missed. From burgers to Vietnamese, sourdough pizzas to ramen and jerk chicken, you’ll be spoilt for choice the second you visit. Pop Brixton is a new space opened to support the local community, including the next-generation of local food and drink entrepreneurs. It’s made up of a whole range of quirky converted shipping containers with awesome retailers trading alongside all the brilliant food. It’s open from 9am to 11pm daily.

Southbank Centre Food Market

Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Bursting with fresh, vibrant and diverse flavours, the Southbank Centre Food Market is jam-packed with some of the capital’s best street food options and culinary delights. Right in the centre of London, right by the Thames, this couldn’t be a better option for lunch near the city or a break away from touring central London. During the summer months the food market is open Friday through to Sunday from 12pm-9pm, closing at 6pm on Sundays.

Night Tales

One to catch before it finishes at the beginning of September! Over the summer, Night Tales comes to London and after two successful years in Shoreditch it’s now based in Hackney Wick! The perfect location for all you east London residents to have a bite to eat, a drink and a dance this summer. There’s a traditional British diner, a Jamaican beach bar, a sun deck and a dancefloor – what more could you want on a Friday or Saturday night? From Rudie’s Caribbean jerk to Slice Guys’ classic NY-style pizza, you’ll be feasting until midnight at this awesome hangout.

Have you tried East Village’s food market yet? Give it a visit! Every Sunday this new E20 fixture pops up for your pleasure, with a range of foodie snacks from artisan bakery goods to pies, craft beers and ice cream to die for. Each and every week there’s a wealth of food and drink on offer, so after that Sunday morning stroll through Olympic Park, why not visit and enjoy some gorgeous grub? The line-up of traders changes weekly and hosts some of the capital’s most talented food stall sensations.
