Shakespeare’s Globe is reconstruction of the open-air playhouse designed in 1599 where many of Shakespeare’s plays were performed. It is located on the bank of the River Thames within Bankside’s Cultural Quarter. The Globe sees thousands of visitors every day who are attracted to visit this renowned theatre to experience productions of Shakespeare. Currently in its Summer season the theatre is showing Othello, The Winter’s Tale and Hamlet along with a handful of other Shakespeare plays. Regents Park Open Air Theatre

A firm fixture of summer in the city and a London landmark, the award-winning Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre is a cultural hub tucked away within the beautiful surroundings of a Royal Park. Established in 1932, it is one of the largest theatres in London and due to it being completely uncovered is open only between May and September each year. Currently running The Little Shop of Horrors and Dinosaur World Live, you can book tickets here. There are also plenty of food options, from a barbecue to picnic hampers and a bar which is the longest in any London Theatre.

One of the oldest cinemas in London, The Electric in Nottinghill (and now Shoreditch) has been beautifully restored to include luxurious leather armchairs, cashmere blankets and footstools. The cinema has waiter service meaning your favourite cocktails can be delivered to you in your chair.
