A favourite spot in the capital to go and get festive, the Southbank Winter Market is back this weekend. With all the festive food and mulled wine you can get your hands on, this is a great spot to browse for presents while you eat, drink and soak in the riverbank views. You’ll be able to find some of the best handmade crafts and unique gifts from a range of traders to really charm the people you’re treating this Christmas. And for the last minute buyers, you can even make a final dash before the market closes at 6pm on Christmas Eve!

Surreal Santa’s Grotto & Family Christmas Fair

Don’t miss this one! For two days only across the first weekend of December, you can visit Hackney’s historic Sutton House to find Santa in a double-decker caravan palace along with a jam-packed extravaganza of pop-up stalls from a range of local artisans. It’s a family-friendly affair, with an array of handcrafted gifts available – we’re sure you’ll find the gifts to suit almost everybody on your Christmas shopping list. The surroundings are stunning too, with warm drinks and crackling wood fires throughout the halls of the Tudor home. Sounds better than a crammed Oxford Street to us!
