October brings the spookiest day of the year… Halloween! This year it falls on Tuesday 31st October, and there are a host of spooky yet wonderful events throughout the month you can get your claws into. We’ve picked out the best of the bunch, from spooktacular theatre productions to nights out, and the traditional pumpkin carving! It’ll be hard to avoid the scariest day of the year. Hammer House of Horror Live – The Soulless Ones

Hammer Films presents their first ever immersive theatre show, The Soulless Ones. There will be no sitting at this show, as you are taken on a guided walk through 105 scenes over two hours in the finest of Victorian halls. Through Opium dens, dusty vaults, bed chambers and creaking attics, you’ll be sucked into the sensuous and spine-tingling world of Carmilla, Queen of the Vampires. Hocus Pocus Halloween

This year The Book Club is hosting a one-of-a-kind club night. Our Halloween film of choice, Hocus Pocus, will be transformed into a club night, with a film screening of everybody’s favourite classic! Go back in time to those teenage sleepovers; think broomsticks, pumpkins and candles galore. The event starts at 6.30pm with the film screening, face painting and sipping down a mezcal witch brew. From 8pm, the immersive night club experience begins – where you can enjoy tunes from the 90s and 2000s! If that isn’t enough, then why not also head to their life drawing class from 4.30pm? Throughout your evening you will be hearing about the ghostly apparitions and paranormal activity that took place at Hampton across the years. The Halloween Ball

Acurious Invitation presents The Halloween Ball, The Theatre of Blood. The theatre space will be taken over by a gang of misfits who will host a ball you’re bound to remember. The decadent event will be a tribute to the classical monsters of horror, featuring five stages and four immersive realms filled with a cast of over 100 performers. Sparkling Pumpkin Carving

Halloween just wouldn’t be complete without the traditional pumpkin carving, would it?
