Victory Parade, E15 2ER
Head East for two weeks of Wimbledon on the big screen, where you can sit outdoors in the leafy surroundings of East Village – a perfect spot for lunchtime picnics if you’re local! The East Village Summer Screen is located on Victory Parade and kicks off a summer of sports on the screen. Victory Parade sits at the heart of East Village, also home to an array of independent boutiques, so you can get a little shopping done and grab a snack to take away before you settle down at the screen!
The Grandstand, Canada Square Park, Canary Wharf, E14
Mon 3rd– Sun 16th July
Canary Wharf has partnered with Greedy Goat, the independent ice cream makers, to create a Wimbledon inspired range of deliciousness. There are four lactose-friendly flavours, all made from British goat’s milk and almost too good looking to eat! Our favourite is The Championship’s Cup (pictured above) with tangy pineapple, accompanied with raspberry swirl and topped with glistening gold shimmer; it’s a dessert made for winners! The other flavours include Murray’s Mint, the classic Strawberries and Cream, and Game, set, Matcha – see what they did there? These ice creams will be served up at The Summer Screens Wimbledon event, don’t miss them!

Check out their Wimbledon Sundae made with fresh strawberries, Chantilly cream, tennis ball macaroons and seasoned with popping candy. Oh my. It’s a win for the little ones, and you too!

The cocktail is made up of Tanqueray gin with lemon juice, crème de fraise, egg white and, of course, fresh strawberries to top. It is the perfect start to get you right in the spirit of the tennis. Enjoy this beauty of a cocktail while you sit back and relax on a deck chair and watch the tennis on a giant screen on The Refinery Bankside’s terrace. Summer bliss!
