If you rewind to the end of last week, you’ll remember that we put our very own Henry from London Living up for sale to members of the public.
Well, not ‘up for sale’ as such, but we offered his services as a PA for the Day to one lucky reader to use as they pleased, within reason, for free. Not a bad deal, we think you’ll agree.
With the idea of time central to the competition, this was the chance to gain an extra pair of hands and have them at your disposal for a whole working day. So, for those of you drowning in housework, admin or other tedious tasks, gaining Henry’s help was an opportunity to get on top of the boring stuff and enjoy the privilege of having your own PA. No catches and no small print involved.
Interest in Henry’s services was understandably high on the blog, with dashing updates on Twitter and Facebook of Henry in his Marigolds at the sink and getting to grips with a grubby desk understandably keeping readers enticed.
In the end though, we had to pick just one winner who was worthy enough of having their very own PA for the day.
Budding writer and London blogger, Julia Blondoner grabbed our attention with her impassioned plea for someone to help her organise and sort through the extensive mass of papers, films and transcripts that she has accumulated over the years.
Claiming the benefit of a PA for the day, ‘would make my life infinitely better’, by providing Julia with a dedicated Henry for the day, we hope she’ll have more time on her hands to knuckle down to her writing.
If you feel like you’ve missed out and are at work or home gritting your teeth about how little time you have to yourself, don’t fret because London Living will be hosting more competitions very soon!
Keep up to date with things here so you don’t miss out.
