Every day should be a day to celebrate women and their many accomplishments, but in a bid to increase awareness, the 8thof March is a day fully dedicated to globally spotlighting these efforts. Cultural forces unite all across the capital in a stellar International Women’s Day line-up that will empower and inspire while recognising there is still work to be done. The theme this year calls upon us to #BalanceForBetter, so join us in listening to women from all walks of life share their stories and empower one another: from award-winning podcasts to free yoga classes. This IWD will surely deliver! Events around London, big and small, are popping up to make sure our leading ladies know they are loved and respected.

The only thing better than listening to Deborah, we can guarantee, is actually joining her live.

Schedule: 1st – 8thMarch
Smart Works is launching a week-long cycling challenge to speed through a week. The charity’s most successful annual fundraiser is challenging women to join groups of 5 and tackle the challenge. Those that dare to go the extra mile for charity will channel their forces to reach a collective 500-mile target by taking part with a road bike, gym bike or even in a spin class. All the donations will help push the charity’s overarching goals: that of helping unemployed women with high quality interview training and clothing to help push their career goals. We’ll see you on the leader board!
