This week @HereEast spoke to the maker and self-taught coder who is hoping to inspire a new generation of giving. The idea behind this new start-up is from his frustration around how charities communicate the impact of their work, especially to a younger audience. He explains that over the last year in particular, there have been a lot of different issues playing out, which has resulted in a lack of trust in charities generally.

Whether that is true or not, he explains the government started to shut certain fundraising agencies down to stop scrutiny.
