Fancy switching it up this summer? We might have just the solution for you. Tempting as it is to spend another weekend afternoon chasing away the heatwave with some rooftop cocktails, we’re daring you to take your Saturdays to a mysterious new level. Dead Man’s Hand is your exclusive chance to star in the murder mystery of your dreams (and of Jack Spade’s nightmares). Immersive theatre, comedy, storytelling and more will come together as The Castle pub will become the site of a murder investigation where everyone is a suspect. Will you and your team solve the mystery and avenge Jack Spade?

Reckless gambling and some bad luck – this is how our main character meets his fateful end and, of course, the theme of this whodunit. Everyone around the poker table has something to hide and it’s up to you to expose them. Dig around Farringdon’s cobbled alleys to uncover evidence, interact with characters and make your case. From bets gone bad to double-dealing poker players, your team will get four hours to get to the bottom of what exactly goes down at The Underhand Club. Sources tell us it won’t be pretty…

With Dead Man’s Hand, the team behind A Door in A Wall make a triumphant return, bringing you the most exciting combination of immersive theatre, escape rooms and treasure hunts the capital has ever seen. If you’re not convinced enough to become a detective just yet, do look into A Door in A Wall’s past production reviews and you’ll understand what the fuss is all about! Of course, as the treasure hunt never strays too far from The Castle, top-notch detective skills will be rewarded with a cheeky pint after. We’ll see you at the bar, but only if you can call the killer’s bluff…
