Modern and timeless classics are taking to the water this summer as Movies on the River brings back the capital’s floating cinema. From indie Favourite(s), yes, pun intended, to the likes of La La Land and The Greatest Showman that will have you rocking the boat, the line-up is packed with something for everyone. Old school film fans should rush and lock a ticket for either Casablanca or Top Gun. Word on the street is that they’re going fast!

Mighty Hoopla

The most pop-tastic extravaganza around, Mighty Hoopla returns for a third year of bringing you a blast from the past. From headliners All Saints to Liberty X to more hip names such as Tove Lo, Brockwell Park promises to deliver June’s best Saturday. To mix it up between the acts, the team is also bringing you the likes of Frame Rave or Bongo’s Bingo in the widest variety of boozy entertainment on the festival scene. The festival-style display at the Barbican this summer aims to break down this complex subject and get you to interact with recent developments in AI. Research, installations and exhibits alike will help you deep dive into the subject as part of the wondrous AI: More Than Human.

Get ready for another year of after-hours at the zoo, with ZSL bringing back its Zoo Nights after a sell-out success the previous years. From a golf-course that spans all around the zoo, to a self-explanatory Birds and the Bees tour and a street food market that celebrates the diversity of the zoo’s inhabitants, this year will be building on fan favourites to take your experience to the next level. We’re also hearing something about a special Pride activity, so keep your eyes peeled…
