Each week here on London Living, we’ll be selecting three of our favourite recent blog posts from fellow Londoners.
As well as sharing some great content with you all, we hope to make better known some of the fantastic blogs and articles out there – bringing you all best bits without you having to look anywhere!
To avoid the hustle and bustle of the tourists running through London on their Easter break, David’s got “five hidden eggs” to keep Londoners entertained. From plumbing to cartoons, if you fancy something a little more low-key, “off-beat, quirky and eccentric” this weekend, then this list is for you.
84 year-old Donald has one hell of a history behind him, and this is integral reading for those interested in the life of this prominent East London figure. Having drawn cartoons for Private Eye and The Daily Mail, this interview turns back the clock and reveals the fascinating life of an anarchist in London. There are also some beautifully drawn cartoon images to have a look at too.
Last, but by no means least, is an endearing article documenting the plight of London’s pubs. If you need to know anything pub-related in our capital city, then London Pubology is the site for you.
Tuesday’s article ‘Former Pubs‘ takes a long look at the decline of our pubs; why they’ve gone, how they’ve gone and how to spot where they once stood. London Pubology certainly know their stuff. Have a read and get fully clued up, and then go pub-spotting!
