Here’s our pick of the blogs we’ve been sharing and reading this week
First up, is the Cultural Exposé’s build up to the London Remixed Festival on Saturday. For those who don’t know, the festival takes place in three large venues in Shoreditch and writer Laura Thornley explains how the event celebrates London’s cosmopolitan and diverse nature through music.
Expect trumpets, drums and maybe a ukulele.
Katie Antoniou’s funny Q&A with comedian and actor Nicholas Burns, who has appeared in various great comedies from Nathan Barley and The Mighty Boosh to The IT Crowd, was the cause of plenty of laughs around the office. Luckily, we’ll be seeing a lot more of Mr Burns, as he has a new role in the theatrical play, The Magistrate, alongside American funnyman John Lithgow.
Our final favourite blog of the week had to be about poor old Mitt Romney. After spending his recent years trying to become the leader of the free world, he failed. So what does he do now? Well, Richard Adams of the Guardian has thankfully come to the rescue and suggested a few career options in this hilarious post.
That’s all from us. So, happy weekend and we’ll be back next week!
