The East Village Market has returned, and this year it promises to be even better with more stalls and retailers coming out to offer sustainable and affordable retail for all visitors and members of the community – everybody’s welcome!
At East Village’s regular Sunday market you can browse stalls of luxury clothing, scented candles, natural beauty products, crafts and trendy succulents from retailers and traders such as Kekkai, WABI and so many more! You’ll be drooling over the many stalls selling delicious treats too, like Greek Doughnuts by LouLoumades and Dezato Patisserie’s premium Japanese desserts. Some of the food stalls are even free, just check out this mermaid toast that Miss Trixie has been handing out! We bet there will be lots more trendy treats coming our way before the summer is over.
East Village, E20, is a continuously growing community that heroes and encourages small businesses. Currently the village is home to 25 independent shops and restaurants, whom will all be getting involved in the Sunday markets by hosting one-off events.
RedYellowBlue kicked off the events in style on the launch day of the market, with a pop up event called ‘The New Pioneers Of Mindful Fashion’. They introduced a panel to discuss the current fashion movement around sustainable production, which went down a storm. Keep an eye out on the East Village website and East Village Market’s social channels to see what events will be coming up!
Finally, there are an array of entertainers showcasing at the market each week, from live music and performers to dancers – adding to the great atmosphere and making your experience that little bit more exciting!
