Having been moving around east London for the last couple of month, The Craft Beer Social Club‘s pop-up pub arrives in Shoreditch for the next six weeks.
Justina Cruickshank founded The Craft Beer Social Club last year with the aim of helping people to explore, drink
and love British beer. Her latest venture sees a temporary residency in Shoreditch High Street, where foodies and beer enthusiasts alike will be able to enjoy a selection of craft beers and street food till mid-December.
The pub itself features a weekly changing list of the finest beers that the UK’s small and independent breweries have to offer, which are only available whilst stocks last. If you’re already a craft beer connoisseur and want to share the love of your favourite beer, you can even request a specific beer and they’ll try and get it in for you.
Alongside the beer menu, The Craft Beer Social Club has invited some of London’s newest, and greatest street food vendors to satisfy your taste buds with intriguing new menu offerings and pairings with beer. These up-and-coming street food chefs will be creating new dishes with beer at the forefront of their meal, either as a core ingredient or to complement their exclusively created meal for the pop-up pub.
Speaking about the street food line-up, Cruickshank said: “We’ve chosen a lively mix of cuisines, and I’m very excited about The Craft Beer Social Club disrupting the norm for food and beer pairings – taste buds will certainly be challenged!” Expect delights from the likes of Fingers and Thumbs, for a hands-on dining experience, and Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen, who offer a special African food experience.
The pub itself is open Tuesday to Sunday 12pm – 12am with different street food vendors every Friday and Saturday. The food days are sure to be a much sought-after experience so be sure to book your table in advance on their website.
