Wilton’s Music Hall is in the heart of London and hosts a year-long programme of world-class productions and sensational live music. This month is no exception, with a great selection of exhibitions and live shows. Why not go to the free event, The Storybox Collective, where designs and illustrations will be exhibited exploring the potential of archival research through collaborative making. Or, what about The Signing Hypnotist? A live show by Christopher Green who combines stage hypnosis with clinical hypnotherapy. If the above isn’t for you, buy tickets for Liza Sings Streisand, in which Liza Pulman transforms into Barbara Streisand for a night alongside her six-piece band, the Stardust Ensemble. LCC Postgraduate Shows: Show 1
London College of Communication, Elephant and Castle, SE1 6SB

The London College of Communication is celebrating the hard work and achievements of its media school’s work. Over 200 students will be exhibiting their work, meaning you’ll be able to see innovative works from photographers, advertisers, journalists and publishers. Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize 2017

The Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize is a leading international photographic portrait competition, which celebrates the very best in contemporary portrait photography. The work is submitted by a range of talented photographers, from professionals to emerging talents and will be exhibited at The National Portrait Gallery, free of charge.

Barber Shop Chronicles
Dorfman Theatre, Lambeth, SE1 9PX
20th November – 9th January 2017
Returning to the stage on the 20th November, this critically acclaimed dynamic play by Inua Ellams leaps from barber shops in Peckham to Johannesburg, Harare, Kamplala, Lagos and Accra. It focuses on the traditions of African men who gather in barber shops to discuss the world – guaranteeing rich banter and truth telling! Buy tickets here.

Doc’n Roll Film Festival
2nd– 19th November
This festival celebrates music subcultures by providing a unique platform to support their cinematic expressions. The festival, which is returning for its fourth time, will premiere a range of music docs; from Ella Fitzgerald, to Jawbreaker and Joe Cocker.
