Nestled in this forgotten corner of London, Paddington Pergola is a truly memorable experience. Perfect for a reunion with friends, allowing you to sip on a cocktail or two with your head in the clouds, catching up on events from the past year. The sun-drenched terrace allows you to soak up the sun from 12pm daily, or lavish in a sundowner from 5pm during the adult-only time allocation. Food is also available from one of their four rotating restaurants; Filth&Co, Salt Shed, Niji Kitchen, & Thunderbird, all ordered via an app to your table. Ranging from hearty main meals to delectable snacks, the offerings are always jam-packed with flavour.

Alexandra Palace Beer Garden
Sit back and relax in London’s largest beer garden and take in some of the city’s greatest panoramic views over a pint or two…. Set over 1500 sq. ft, you’ll be joined by top street food vendors, rotating throughout Spring and Summer to keep things fresh! From well-known favourites including Browski Burgers and Last Night a Vegan Saved My Life, to brand new talent soon to be announced by the venue. As well as the standard and abundant bar offering (think craft beers, prosecco, and cocktails), soon to be announced by the venue is also an exciting line-up of comedy and live music for Spring/Summer 2021.
Those who visited last year might remember the small booking fee of £5 per table, but we’re pleased to report that booking is now completely free! Reservations are available for groups of up to 6 people, for a maximum of 3.5 hours, seven days a week from 12.30pm. Be quick though, as weekends especially are already particularly busy.
Many might be familiar with this East London Bangkok-themed restaurant, but thanks to the current al-fresco dining regulations, Smoking Goat has spilled out onto the pavements up to Redchurch Street with their new terrace area. The cool and laid-back eatery offers a range of modernised Thai-inspired dishes, with options for smaller sharing plates, or larger meals for one. We’d recommend accompanying your meal with a local draught beer, or one of their East Asian-style cocktails to help soak up the spice!
Bookings can be made for groups of up to 6 people, with some tables always reserved for walk-ins. https://www.smokinggoatbar.com
Hippodrome Casino Leicester Square
Since its opening on the 15th of April, Hippodrome Casino is London’s newest outdoor venue for food and drinks, with splendid 5-storey views across Soho. Open from 2pm-2am daily, it’s also one of the few truly ‘late night’ venues available to Londoners right now. Thanks to the retractable roof and heaters, it’s also pretty much weather-proof, making it a fail-safe option to book over the next couple of months. Sip on their signature cocktails or indulge in a juicy beef burger from the all-day menu. For those with a lighter appetite, there’s also a small plates menu featuring prawn tempura, vegetable fritters, and much more!
Booking is now open, with options for larger groups coming soon. https://www.opentable.co.uk/r/the-rooftop-at-the-hippodrome-casino-london
