It’s time for the final part in our series of initiatives celebrating the three key elements that East Village will offer its residents: time, space and choice. This time it’s choice, and London Living are very excited to announce a great partnership with the excellent CabbieBlog.
East Village is set to offer its residents a genuinely unique amount of choice. The huge variety in Westfield will be complemented by what is available in the Village itself: a host of local shops, cafes, restaurants and bars – along with a state-of-the-art health centre and a world class school. This is not to forget the amazing cafes, pubs and galleries just a stone’s throw away – or the obvious: spectacular sporting facilities right on your doorstep.
However, as with time and space, we can’t let you experience this until East Village opens next year. So in the meantime, we want to give you glimpse of what this will be like. If we can’t bring amazing shops, restaurants and facilities to you, we can bring you to them. Which is where CabbieBlog comes in.
David from CabbieBlog is a veritable encyclopedia of London knowledge, not to mention ‘The Knowledge’, he has unrivalled insights into our city’s streets. A parade of celebrities have graced his back seat, from Barbara Winsor to David Gest. And, to our delight, David has agreed to act as a personal chauffeur to one of our readers for a whole day: allowing you to choose what you want to do and where you want to go, without having to worry about such inconveniences as buses, trains, helmets and bike locks.
Whether you fancy a chauffeured shopping trip around the West End, a journey to a side of the city you’ve always meant to visit, or simply a day visiting your friends in far flung corners of the capital, David will take you there – sharing his wealth of knowledge with you along the way.
To win this fabulous prize, which will take place on Saturday 21st April, all we want you to do is tell us what you would choose to do with this chariot at your beck and call for the day. Our favourite itinerary wins the prize – it’s as simple as that!
We can’t wait to read your answers, so get creative in the comments box below. We will announce the winner on Tuesday 10th April. Good luck!
